Event Series Event Series: Grief, an open conversation

Grief, an open conversation – Moultonborough Library

February 12 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Come join the conversation.
Let’s talk about Grief –An Open Conversation Grief is a kaleidoscope of emotions, sparked by any loss that shatters our world.

Grief and loss are often associated with death, but they can be caused by any significant loss.
Do you feel uncomfortable talking about grief? Do you have questions or concerns?
Do you feel ashamed or silly to say that you’re still grieving deeply for your pet?
Do you or your family wonder when your grief will end? Grief is a journey, not a destination. There is no timeline for when it will end.
Do you understand the difference between grief and mourning?

Are you afraid to tell friends and family that you’re still grieving?
Are you afraid to show your grief in public?

Grief is a taboo topic in our culture, but it’s important to talk about it.
Let’s break the silence. Let’s open the door to a conversation about grief.
It’s time to break the stigma.
