Non-Discrimination Policy

In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C Sec. 2000 et seq). Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. Sec 794) and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended (42 U.S.C. Sec. 6101 et seq), the Lakes Region Visiting Nurse Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, handicap or age in admission or access to treatment or employment.

Lakes Region Visiting Nurse Association and all of its programs and activities are accessible to and usable by disabled persons, including those who are hard of hearing, deaf, blind, or have other sensory impairments.

Furthermore, Lakes Region Visiting Nurse Association will take reasonable steps to ensure that individuals with limited English proficiency have meaningful access and an equal opportunity to participate in services, activities, and programs offered by the agency.
